Please join me for a nice little walk in the quiet woods bordering the Neshaminy Creek in New Britain Borough, Bucks County, PA. Trails are snow-covered right now and may be slippery, so proper winter hiking footwear is a must, and you may wish to bring your traction devices and hiking poles. Please dress in layers, pack water and a snack to enjoy while we take a break to enjoy the scenery. We will make a loop from the parking area, along the creek and back to our starting point for a total of about one mile. At that point, those of us who wish to continue will venture out again for an additional one mile loop, exploring a few other trails. There are rolling hills with very slight elevation change (50-100’) and a few wet spots to step over. This hike is easy, but is rated moderate because of the snowy conditions. No worries about keeping up, we will move at a leisurely pace to be careful of our footing and enjoy our surroundings. Parking is limited, there’s just a small parking area and a few spaces along the road.
