We’re happy to announce that the AMC Lehigh Valley Group will resume in-person meetings this month on Weds, April 15th at 7:30 pm, and that it will be a special one!

**We will be part of the AMC’s 150th Anniversary Relay celebration: https://www.outdoors.org/AMC150/**
Join us to explore the long legacy of the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Delaware Valley Chapter. This evening program will feature a joint presentation by Mark Zakutansky (AMC Director of Conservation Policy) and George Cagle (AMC Regional Director) focusing on major moments in AMC history, important regional conservation victories, and the story of how the Delaware Valley Chapter has grown and shaped outdoor leadership across our region.
This evening's program will begin at 7:30 PM. Registration is encouraged but not required if attending in person.

This event is part of an exciting stretch of the AMC150 Outdoor Relay. The AMC150 Outdoor Relay is a series of connected outdoor trips from Virginia to Maine, spanning more than two thousand miles of the Northeast, showcasing AMC passion for the outdoors, iconic trails and landscapes, and the camaraderie that we share along the way. Earlier in the day on April 15, 2026, AMC's Delaware Valley Chapter leader, Marty Keck, will be leading a bike ride carrying the flag along the relay route to Illick's Mill. Learn more and sign up for this ride by visiting the activity listing. On April 16, 2026, the relay route will continue on its journey, leaving Illick's Mill on another bike ride, led by AMC Delaware Valley Chapter leader Joe Nanfara. Find all AMC 150 events, including our signature weekend program at AMC's Mohican Outdoor Center, by visiting the AMC Outdoors Connector and searching for program type "AMC 150".
Come celebrate AMC history and the central role of the Delaware Valley Chapter as we carry the AMC 150 Relay across the Northeast and share the story of a century and a half of exploration, conservation, and outdoor community!
