If you're interested in conservation, be sure to sign up for the upcoming, free webinar training session for iNaturalist, an online social network of people sharing biodiversity information to help each other learn about nature. Led by AMC Senior Scientist Georgia Murray, the webinar will give you the training needed to help AMC's science team track flowering and fruiting times of plants along the Appalachian Trail and beyond. It will introduce plant phenology, discuss how climate is changing, and explain the need for community scientists to help us in mountain environments.
