Two Parks, One Hike - Washington Crossing and Baldpate - 8 - 9 miles

Join us for a hilly hike linking two parks - Washington Crossing (NJ) and Ted Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain. Our hike will take us on trails in Washington Crossing Park that link us to the pretty creekside trails in Ted Stiles, and then to an overlook at the top of the mountain where we will stop for a brief snack break (on a clear day, you can see the Philly skyline!). The trails can be muddy so come prepared with appropriate footwear. The hike will be at a moderate pace and will include a stream crossing and about 1000 feet of elevation gain across 8 - 9 miles.
Please dress in layers for the weather and bring along water and snacks as needed. Steady rain cancels - please check status on Meetup by 6:30am the day of the hike or contact leader.
