Join us as we explore the historical past of the LGBQT change movement in Philadelphia. Included are historical markers, memorable change agents, rainbow street signs, murals, important buildings and a flat city walk. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, bring plenty of water and a snack. All are welcome!

We will be offering two starting locations to make this hike commuter friendly. The first group (and longer hike) will meet at 8:30am at the corner of 2nd and Lombard Streets, Philadelphia and will return there at the end of the hike - total hiking distance about 8- 9 miles. Hikers starting at Lombard Street will walk to City Hall to pick up the second group of hikers at 9:15am (meeting in front of Rothman Cabin). Total hiking distance from City Hall about 6 miles. There are several paid lots on Lombard Street that often offer early bird parking discounts, and several are also available on Spothero. Please note that World Cup celebrations in the area of Boathouse Row are affecting our ability to start from that location.

There will be restroom options along the hike route. Steady rain cancels - please check status by 6:30am the day of hike or contact leader.

"Please note: In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other Chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania.
