Valley Forge Sunday Afternoon Hike

Meet at the picnic tables near the bike rental at the Valley Forge Visitor lower parking lot. Hiking 5.4 miles on the relatively flat paved path loop, the pace will be 2.5 mph. It may be sunny and hot -- please bring water. If it's 90 degrees or higher, the hike is cancelled. Thunder and/or lighting also cancel the hike. We will pass the revolutionary huts, the Memorial Arch, Artillery Park , the Von Steuben statue, the Washington Memorial Chapel, and the Patriots of African Descent Monument. If you need to go back early, you can sign out and retrace your steps on the paved path back to the Visitor Center lot. Option to go to Chipotle on Swedesford Rd after
