Neshaminy Greenway Bike Ride

Join us for a ride that would be very easy except for a few hills; not Everest-like but not nothing! Elevation change about 350 ft. We will average 9-10 mph with a few water breaks/rest stops. The whole loop is only 10 miles so I would expect total time to be 1.5 hours. The ride is almost all on a wide paved bike path so any bike will do. This is a great ride to start the season if you haven’t had much opportunity so far this Spring. Trail is a mixture of shade and sun and quite pretty. Please bring a bike in good working condition, carry a spare tube and helmets are required. Water is always important. We will meet at the parking lot for the trailhead. Nearby OWowCow local ice cream opens at noon so we can socialize after the ride if the group is interested . There are no bathroom facilities at the start but there are nice restrooms 4 miles into the ride at Central Park.
Heavy rain will cancel ride. All attendees must register on the AMCDV.org website and sign the AMC waiver.
This bike ride will qualify Barb Nickerson to attain AMC DelVal Bike Leadership!
