Assemble for 10 am start! at Stony Brook Millstone Watershed ("the preserve") main parking lot (anticipate busy!). We will hike directly N on the main preserve trail almost to Crusher Road, explore Elks Preserve to the west, return via the forested border trail N of Moore's Mill-Mt. Rose Rd., re-enter the main preserve tract and head west on the Meadow Pond and Stony Brook Trails to the western edge loop of the preserve, and return to parking. Flat, possibly wet in places, pace strenuous, distance ca. 10 - 11 miles, forest and field well-trodden paths or boardwalks. Bring boots, lunch, water, phones to document flowers for iNaturalist! Weather predicted clear and low 60s F.

This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other Chapter events within the state of Pennsyllvania." -- but, please leave children and pets home.
