Lake Galena hike

Come out and join me and Tony Soares for his second co-lead around Lake Galena. This six mile hike is mostly flat and on a paved surface making it perfect to enjoy beautiful lake views, great company and hopefully a spectacular sunset.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water, and a snack. Much of the hike is unshaded so a hat and sunscreen is also recommended.
We will meet at Peace Valley Boat Launch on Meyers Road (off Creek Road) at 5:45 PM. The hike starts promptly at 6:00 PM. GPS Coordinates: 40.319495, -75.193285.
Inclement weather or heavy rain may cancel the hike. Cancellations will be announced on the AMC website at least two hours before the hike start time.
All participants need to agree to and sign a waiver prior to the hike if you did not register online in the AMC Outdoor Connector.
Please Note: In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other Chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania.
