CROM POND TRAIL IN FDR STATE PARK, 2-3 MILES, BEGINNER FRIENDLY (EASY)
Details
Join me for an easy pace hike on a small lollipop trail around Crom Pond. We will meet at the FDR State Park's swimming pool parking lot. Look for a bench near the parking lot entrance (east side), near a post with white blazes. We will follow the white blazes down to some stone steps. The trial will pass the wetlands, follow along the pond and over 2 small bridges.
Distance: Approximately 2.5 miles Pace: Approximately 2.0 miles per hour
Difficulty: Easy
Hike will be on mostly flat terrain with plenty of tree roots to trip on. The trail can get a bit muddy as well. I recommend boots to ensure your feet stay dry.
