Celebrate AMC’s 150th Anniversary in New York City by joining our sister hiking club, The Shorewalkers, on their iconic Great Saunter !

Fifty AMC Members will receive coveted bibs for this one-day, 32-mile circumperambulation around Manhattan. Space for this unique 3,000 urban hikers and walkers event sells out in less than 2 days, so we’re super lucky to partner with Shorewalkers for these reserved spots.

Proceeds from the Great Saunter, including registration fees, support local conservation efforts.

Registration:
This event is available to AMC Members only. Your AMC membership must be up to date at the time of registration and on May 2, 2026.

All participants on the AMC 150 Team must register on the AMC website at ... activities.outdoors.org. Meetup RSVP is not sufficient.

Additional details will be sent to registered participants at least 1 week before the event. Additionally, training walks will be scheduled this spring!

Cost:
$28 AMC Members, includes Great Saunter Bib & Hat and AMC gift.
