Automate with WordPress + IFTTT w/ Elliot Christenson

Make the web work for you by using tools to automate things you do every day.

Elliot Christenson will be giving a little demonstration of IFTTT (https://ifttt.com/dashboard) and other tools that can be used to automate web processes. It'll be a brief, tip-filled presentation, so if you are new to web automation tools, come ready with questions and note-taking!

This is really easy - probably beneath most of you - but it's a nice easy way to tiptoe into 2014.

The best content comes from smart, busy people - and those people can spend more time making great content if they can spend less time worrying about the grunt-work.

Elliot will demo the setup for IFTTT on the web920.com (http://www.web920.com) website, for instance. If we don't make the machines our slaves, the Matrix will never happen. How boring would that be?
