Most startup events ask you to arrive with an idea and pitch it.

At PARALLEL, bring us yourself.

PARALLEL is an intimate, hands-on workshop for founders, engineers, operators, creators, and people who suspect they could build something—but have not yet found the right company.

Using your LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, website, or social profile, Slipstream will identify ten businesses you may be uniquely positioned to build based on your experience, skills, interests, audience, network, and unfair advantages.

Then we will workshop the strongest opportunities together.

This is not a panel discussion, networking mixer, startup pitch competition, or sequence of rehearsed presentations. It is a working session built around applied AI, honest conversation, real founder case studies, and the possibility that the right combination of people and ideas could create something genuinely valuable.

During the workshop, we will explore:

  • Where founder-market fit comes from
  • How to uncover businesses hiding inside your existing experience
  • How AI can help validate, brand, plan, and build a company
  • Who the first customer should be
  • What the smallest sellable version looks like
  • How to move from idea to revenue without waiting for permission

Attendees will leave with:

  • Ten personalized startup opportunities
  • A top-ranked concept built around their strengths
  • A clearer customer and revenue model
  • A practical path toward launching
  • Potential collaborators, advisors, or accelerator support

Sean Talbot, founder of Parallax Web Services and Slipstream, will cook dinner for the group while demonstrating how Slipstream helps people discover, build, launch, and operate new companies.

At 8 PM, the workshop will lead into a separate evening event introducing the expanded vision for Slipstream, its startup accelerator, and the company-building platform behind it.

Come hungry. Bring yourself. We’ll work on the pitch.
