What we’re about
We’re a group of students and AI practitioners who enjoy exploring the ever-evolving world of artificial intelligence together. For each meetup, we read and discuss a (scientific) paper—focusing on insights and applications that are relevant to the business world.
Our goal isn’t to understand every mathematical or technical detail, but to grasp the key ideas, results, and real-world implications of each work.
The group is open to anyone interested in AI and willing to spend a bit of time reading the paper beforehand. Whether you’re a student or an experienced professional, you’re very welcome to join, learn, and share your perspective!

Please read the selected paper in advance so that you’re familiar with the main ideas and key concepts. We won’t present the paper in detail — instead, we’ll focus our time on discussing its content, insights, and real-world implications.

OpenTSLM: Time-Series Language Models for Reasoning over Multivariate Medical Text- and Time-Series Data
OpenTSLM introduces a family of open-source models that natively integrate multivariate time-series data into Large Language Models, demonstrating superior reasoning capabilities over text-only baselines—and even GPT-4o—on novel clinical benchmarks for ECG analysis, sleep staging, and human activity recognition.
