Welcome to the third edition of Applied Machine Learning, Rhine-Main meetup! The success of the first and second meetup, as well as the warm embrace from the community, has reinforced our belief that there IS demand for more technical-oriented meetups focused on building projects using ML.

As the date moves closer, we will be announcing more details and the topic of the meetup.

Arne Wolfewicz is a manager turned/turning self-taught software developer who still thinks that machine learning is 67% magic. He currently works out of Frankfurt at colabel. He will take you through a very simple neural network for image classification and thereby explain how the API works. His talk will be including a live coding session within Google Colab, which is a free tool from Google that already has all the bells and whistles installed, so if you would like to follow along, just bring your wifi-enabled laptop!

We are currently looking for speakers for future machine learning Meetups! There is no better place to showcase your projects than in front of an encouraging and supportive group. If any of you are interested or are not sure about how to present your ideas, feel free to contact the organizers!
