Details
This 2-day hands-on Computer Vision workshop will equip you with the knowledge and hands-on experience to leverage GPU-accelerated SDKs and developer tools in NVIDIA's Metropolis and help you to optimally build, deploy, and scale AI-enabled video analytics and IoT applications - from the edge to the cloud. The workshop will happen in the NVIDIA Discovery office in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru.

PREREQUISITES
- Intermediate level competency in the Python 3 programming language, with experience manipulating data using pandas DataFrames.
- Experience with deep networks (specifically variations of CNNs)
- Basic understanding of parallel computing, CUDA, and GPU memory management will be helpful but not mandatory.
- Bring your own Dedicated Cloud GPU instance with NVIDIA T4 or later generation GPUs. The instance should support NVIDIA VMI and have a minimum of 8 GB system memory and >4GB GPU memory. You will need this through the 2 day workshop. (Examples of CSP instances that you can provision are AWS (g4dn), GCP (n1 with T4 or later generation GPU), Azure (ncast4_v3) or any similar instance that can be provisioned by your sources).
- Bring your own laptop with latest version of Chrome or Firefox installed. It should be capable of SSH into the cloud instance.
