HOST: AMANDA CAVALERI
Cavaleri is a Jackson, WY resident who has worked to commercialize emerging technologies, both domestically and abroad (APAC & Europe). She runs a tech consultancy and is a founding partner of https://www.pearlsnapcap.com, an Austin-based fund (with former TRS of TX and The MBA Investment Fund co-founder). She was a Thought Leader/Advisor with Carnegie Mellon University & UPMC’s Quality of Life Technology Center and was an Innovation Fellow with AARP. By working with pioneers in technology, Cavaleri has built a career at the intersection of innovation and wisdom. She worked as a startup executive on David Chaum, Ph.D.’s latest payments platform. Chaum is the computer scientist and cryptographer who created blockchain technology in the early 1980s (credited by IEEE) and founded the first digital currency, DigiCash, in the 1990s. Cavaleri has also worked with digital asset and Bitcoin venture/hedge funds, doing R&D for the likes of Marc Fleury, P.hD. (opensource pioneer who sold JBoss to Red Hat). A Colorado native, you’ll find Cavaleri in her element skiing, biking, hiking, and fishing in the Tetons.

Cory Klippsten is the founder and CEO of SwanBitcoin.com. He also serves as an advisor to Unchained Capital, Bitcoin Venture Fund (TVP), and Riot Blockchain (NASDAQ: RIOT), and is a partner in Bitcoiner Ventures. As an advisor he has supported more than $250M of fundraising since 2016, and as an angel has funded 20+ early-stage startups. Before startups, Klippsten worked for Google, McKinsey, Microsoft, and Morgan Stanley, and earned an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago. He grew up in SF and Seattle, split 15 years between NYC and Chicago, and now lives in LA with his wife and daughters. His hobbies include Bitcoin, history, and travel (Istanbul and Barcelona are favorites).
