Women Composers Recital

March is women's history month all over the world and AmateurPIanists is pleased to celebrate women composers as the main theme for our March recital.

Historically, women were banned from being composers and have had to use pseudonyms when publishing their works. Fortunately, we are moving towards gender equity today in many countries.

While we encourage performance of pieces by women composers, music by all composers and all genres are welcome.

This recital is FREE and open to everyone to attend. This is one of the core tenets of AmateurPianists - access to piano music.

You will be asked to enter your full name, the name of your piece, composer and approximate duration. We also thank you for your performance donation of $20.00. Registration deadline for performing is March 11 as we need a few days to prepare the program.
