What we’re about
Calling all the avid Arab readers to participate in a biweekly or monthly Salon (intellectual gathering) to discuss, debate, and share knowledge. Through conversations, will get to know each other and grow as individuals. Topics are open, and thoughts are ceilingless. Everyone that speaks Arabic, loves to read, and critical minded is welcome.
Books/topics can include history, fiction, politics, philosophy, and religion but can also include any topic agreed on. Talents, musical and performing, are encouraged. We will enjoy good food, and possibly intellectual Arab guest speakers.
هذا الصالون الثقافي سيعقد كل أسبوعين او شهريا للبحث، والتواصل المعرفي. من خلال المناقشات سوف نتعرف على بعضنا البعض، وننمو معرفيا . نقترح العناوين سويا، و نتبادل الافكار بلا سقف. كل من يتكلم العربية، مولع بالقراءة، ويمتلك عقلاً ناقداً يمكنه الانضمام.
الكتب/العناوين قد تشمل التاريخ، السياسة، الآداب، الفلسفة، والديانات ولكنها قد تشمل أيضا أي موضوع يمكن التوافق عليه. المواهب، موسيقية أو تمثيلية، مُرحبٌ بها أيضا. من حين إلى اخر نلتقي بضيوفٍ ثقافية و فكرية عربية
