The next meetup will be an open and reflective discussion on SOCIAL MEDIA.
Some of us find our lives sometimes consumed by Social Media.
Some of the group have successfully used it for professional, political and social uses. Let's learn from eachother!
Potential topics of discussion:
- How has social media impacted our daily lives and mental well-being? Do we control our use of it, or does it control us?
- What are the benefits and dangers of the social media age? How has it changed the way we connect and perceive the world?
- How can we, as individuals and as a community, use these platforms as a tool for positive change? What are the strategies we use to maintain a healthy relationship with social media?
GROUND RULES:
This is a nice gentle, but thought-provoking, discussion.
It's a judgement-free zone where people can air their thoughts on particular issues, and find out about other people's similar and different perspectives.
So bring your best opinions and ideas. Everyone is welcome.
LOCATION:
We will meet in the 1st floor area of Coffee Island Edgware Road.
There's plenty of space 🛋️, and coffee ☕, tea ☕ cold drinks, and snacks are available.
