Arabs summer farewell cookout and potluck

It’s been a while since we’ve gathered, and we’re excited to bring our group back together! Join us for an End-of-Summer Picnic at Lake Sammamish — a relaxed, family-friendly evening by the water with great food, music, and company.

We’ll bring a propane grill for anyone who wants to cook. Bring your favorite meat to grill, or any ready-made dishes, salads, sweets, drinks, and disposables to share. Picnic blankets, foldable chairs or tables are welcome so everyone can spread out comfortably.

What’s planned:
• Music, dancing, and plenty of space for conversation.
• Games and activities — go for a walk along the beach, kick a soccer ball, or simply enjoy the sunset over the lake.
• A children’s play area nearby so families can relax while the kids have fun.

This event is open to families with children, couples, and singles alike. We’ll make sure there’s enough space for everyone to sit in groups or mingle as they feel comfortable.

📍 Location: Lake Sammamish State Park (30–45 minutes from Seattle; we’ll coordinate carpooling for those who need a ride)
💰 Cost: Free — the park facilities are open.
