About us

Calibrate your innate intuitive compass toward clarity, purpose, and creative evolution. Join us for our monthly in-person Tarot Circle as we channel in-depth personal readings centered on the Tarot archetype that corresponds to the current astrological season.

We meet the FOURTH MONDAY of every month, 7-9pm @ The Healing Temple, 209 E. Ben White Blvd. #202. Bring a deck (if you have one) and your journal (or just something to write with).

Donations of $15-$35 dollars per session appreciated (see below).

Email me at melissa@arcanacraft.com to register.

On February 23, we will shift our perspective with support from the Hanged One.

In each circle you will:
<>Practice reading Tarot in a supportive, therapeutic container.
You can come as a total beginner or a seasoned tarot reader. All levels will benefit from the collective energy of reading within a safe, compassionate space that honors all responses and relationships to the cards.

Strengthen your intuition.
<>No matter where you fall on the spectrum of skeptic to total believer, you have the capacity to work with the Tarot as a tool for self-reflection and personal growth. You do not have to be psychic for the cards to speak to you—although you may find that they open avenues of guidance that you weren’t aware you possessed. The process we follow for reading the cards is gentle and supportive, rather than jarring or overwhelming. You can expect to strengthen your natural intuitive gifts in a way that uplifts and empowers you to make choices that align with your inner guidance and wisest Self.

Activate the collective unconscious to uncover personal guidance from your deck.
<>The advantages of practicing tarot in a group are manifold. We raise the energy of the readings with our collective attention—a bit like how the feel of a meditation or yoga practice can shift in a room of devoted attendees. There is a collective consciousness that activates when we read cards together—bringing greater clarity to personal readings and making messages and insights easier to integrate after the session has ended.

Mark seasonal shifts with intention through soul-supporting ritual.
<>Each month we bring focused attention to a single Tarot archetype that corresponds with the current astrological season. This practice fosters spiritual alignment with the earth, planets, and seasonal changes that affect the human and more-than-human realms equally. The result is a grounded, earth-centered practice that situates our individual challenges and triumphs within the collective and the cosmos alike.

Connect with a community of magic-makers.
<>Make friends! Find coven-mates! Connect with folks who are interested in living deeply intentional, soul-centered lives.

About your session leader:
My approach to reading Tarot is both intuitive and academic. As a Super-Nerd (aka Ph.D. recipient) in the fields of comparative literature and visual culture, I come to the cards with a heightened interest in the Tarot’s esoteric symbolism and historically accumulative meanings. At the same time, I trust my intuition (honed over years of practice) to guide me to the salient messages and invitations that each card offers in the present. I personally do not use Tarot to foretell future events. Instead I look to the cards to gain clarity around what is already here calling for my attention and care.
