King of WANDS - Heart of Fire

July marks the beginning of a new season for Arcana Craft Tarot Circle: we're moving from the Major Arcana into an exploration of the Court Cards! And who better to lead us than the King of WANDS?

Court-correspondent to Leo season, this Fiery monarch reigns over our personal power with a Lion's Heart. Having traversed all the ups and downs of creative life, he knows just how to put his passions into action without getting burned--wisdom he's earned through eons trial and error. Let him help you unlock the creative energy inside of you and move it into material reality!

This month we're happy to welcome a special guest facilitator: Claire Campbell of Bluestone Writers. Claire is an intuitive guide and craft mentor helping writers to tend the fires (suit-of-wands style), of their creative visions and bring those visions to life on the page. She's also the creator of "the Fool and the Page" Podcast, guiding writers through reflections and writing prompts inspired by Tarot. I hope you'll be able to take advantage of this special opportunity to work with Claire in our magical setting at the Healing Temple!

What to know before you come:

• Bring a Deck! (I will have some to borrow if you don't have your own) and something to write with/on.
• We typically sit on the floor in the meditation room at the Healing Temple, so if you need anything to make that more comfortable for you please bring that as well. (We do have mats, blankets, and also folding chairs if floor-sitting is not a good option for you.)
• In each session we will share collective reflections on the imagery in the card and draw personal spreads to receive insight from our decks. Members will have the opportunity to share readings in a container of mutual support and affirmation. You don't have to share, but know that it can be a very effective way to amplify the magic of your reading. Spoken words have power!
