## Designing Defensible Architecture for Critical Infrastructure

Speaker: Daniel Castillo — CEO & Founder, Skadi Solutions
*Thu, 30 April • 12:30 PM • Online • 1‑hour session

Critical infrastructure environments face a unique challenge: the architecture itself often determines whether a cyber incident is contained or becomes operationally disruptive.

In this session, Daniel Castillo introduces defensible architecture as a practical design mindset for OT and cyber‑physical systems. He’ll explore how segmentation, connectivity, and operational patterns shape resilience — and how architects can make more deliberate design choices that materially reduce impact and support continuity.
Through real‑world anti‑patterns and a practical implementation example, Daniel will show how solution architects can bridge governance and engineering to deliver controls that actually work in the field — designed for uptime, safety, and real operational constraints.
