The Best Francesinha in Town

Details

To be a Portonian entails many things and it goes far beyond knowing the ins and outs of the streets of Porto, no matter how much we love to do so. As we say in our group presentation it's all about our passion for the city, discovering what makes Porto and the residents tick and what ticks them off, the little quirks and whims, knowing the things the people are ardent about and what we love about it and, as someone once cleverly said, "“There is no love sincerer than the love of food.

More to the point, despite we being known as the tripe eaters, you'll hardly find a heated discussion about where to eat the best "tripas" in town. However, the Francesinha is an altogether different affair. You will get a dozen different recommendations from the same number of people— all equally intransigent, mind you! Likewise, we also have ours. What would like to share is a little on something that just has a six-decade history but actually a shorter time tradition that has become as iconic as the Tour of Clérigos or the wrought-iron bridges of the city.

It is also an opportunity to chat, get to know the community and exchange perspectives on the city in a relaxed atmosphere, so we'd like to invite you to join us at a Francesinha in our favourite place located in the Boavista-Ramalde area.

As this needs a bit more logistics and organization, RSVP-ing alone is not enough we ask you to send us a message, after all seats are limited we cannot accommodate any impromptu arrivals, after all, it is meant to be a cozy event, up to 8 people. So, as they say in the restaurant business, first come, first served :)

So, let me know you are coming by sending me a message here or through our contact/SMS/Whatsapp number +351910430259! :))

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
Date: Wednesday, 28th of May at 19h30 (not too late in the evening, because this requires a bit of time to digest)
Location: A Cunha 2. (Rua Outeiro de Ramalde) in Boavista-Ramalde area (in the vicinity of Estádio do Bessa)

Price: It's free! Well, it's not, it's a little bit pricier than that, what I mean is that participation has no cost, but of course, each person will pay for what s/he consumes, but we're speaking about €18/person, and if we have basically the same thing we can easily share the bill. (no hidden costs, no commissions, the bill will be there for everybody to peruse over!)

Thank you for your attention and understanding and I hope to see you foor good food and good laughs!
