One city. zero excuses and 10,000 steps to clock in!

Although the title makes it sound very epic, our objective is quite simple: the idea is to clock your 10,000 steps as we cover the distance from Praça da República to Praça do Império — starting on higher ground and gently rolling our way down towards the ocean.
Slowly, loosely, and with no agenda other than enjoying Porto as it comes.

Boavista can be many things to many people — grand avenues, quiet corners, contradictions, layers — and we’re leaning into the most maximalist version of that. Taking it all in, without overthinking it, sometimes people claim it begins just off Praça da República, Cedofeita; some people feel like it extends all the way to Foz. It is the largest undefined area of Porto, being part of 3 or 4 townships. We're not to address exactly that, but we'll use it as an excuse. :)
It’s free, it’s easy, not a commented tour, this is the one I get out of your hair and join the group for the conversation and banter, which are most welcomed and it ends with a drink at the Mercado da Foz (as all good walks should), if you feel like, otherwise, we’ll make use of having a free metrobus to bring us back.

Bring comfortable shoes, a friend (or make one there), and let’s see where the city takes us.
