One city. Zero excuses and 10,000 steps to clock in!

We’re walking from Asprela to Boavista — tracing a broad stretch of the city where Porto quietly reveals itself in its most genuine form. No postcard façades or grand monuments here: this is the everyday Porto, the one shaped by routines, cafés, corner shops, university life, apartment blocks, small encounters and the countless little rituals that make the city feel lived-in.

By crossing the wide belt between Paranhos and Boavista, we also keep the route pleasantly gentle — no dramatic climbs, just the pleasure of walking and letting the city slowly unfold around us.
It’s a walk through the Porto most locals truly know: unpolished, familiar, layered and full of character.
Come discover the city beyond the clichés. 😉
Slowly, loosely, and with no other agenda than enjoying Porto as it comes.

It’s free, it’s easy, not a commented tour, so I will get out of your hair most of the time, just pointing the way, but conversation and banter are most welcome, and it ends with a drink (as all good walks should) at Mercado do Bom Sucesso.

Bring comfortable shoes, a friend (or make one there), and let’s see where the city takes us.
