About us

We are a community of hobbyists, students, and tinkerer who enjoy working with Arduino and similar microcontroller platforms. Whether you are currently stuck on a piece of code, trying to figure out how to wire a sensor, or just looking for a space to show off a project you have been developing, this is the place to be. We meet every week to share our progress, troubleshoot issues, and learn from one another in a relaxed, informal setting.

Our gatherings are focused on hands-on work rather than formal presentations. We encourage everyone to bring their own boards, components, and current work-in-progress to the table. It does not matter if you are a complete beginner looking to blink your first LED or an experienced engineer working on a complex robotics build; our goal is simply to build things together and help each other get our projects moving forward. We are doing something a little different for our weekly gathering this time. Instead of our usual deep dive into code and hardware, we are hosting a casual speed dating event tailored specifically for the Arduino Makers community here in Los Angeles. We know that finding someone who understands the nuances of circuit design or the frustration of a faulty sensor can be a challenge, so this is a chance to meet fellow makers who share your interests and technical curiosity.

The evening will be structured with short, rotating conversations so you can get to know a variety of people in a low-pressure setting. Whether you are working on a complex robotics project or just starting out with your first breadboard, you will be among friends who speak your language. It is just a fun way to connect with the local community outside of our regular project builds.

We would love to get a sense of who is coming so we can balance the groups, so please take a moment to RSVP if you think you can make it. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
