Talk 1: Building large-scale applications in Laravel, Rasmus Nielsen, Makeable

Most applications today have a lot of responsibility and integrates with other services.
It often grows in complexity as it needs to support billing, accounting, notifications, translations, messaging, users - all alongside the actual business layer of the app.

This time we will kick off the Meetup with a talk about how we tend to structure our Laravel applications at Makeable and what experiences have led to our current approach.

Talk 2: Docker in Laravel development - Troels Lenda, Makeable

What is Docker and what problems does it solve in modern web development? Why and how do we use Docker @ Makeable?

Get yourself familiarized with the basics of Docker if you haven't already!

Talk 3: Continuous Delivery in Web Development - Jonas Vinther, Praqma How can Continuous Delivery help us building better Web Applications? This talk is an introduction to Continuous Delivery. We will target some of the most common challenges in Web Development.
Then we will try to solve the challenges by implementing a Continuous Delivery workflow in the development process.

Important to know

Makeable will be sponsoring pizza / sandwiches and soft drinks for the event.

The talks will be in either danish or english depending on the participants.

If you are english speaking PLEASE LET US KNOW HERE ON MEETUP ONE WEEK PRIOR so our speakers will know in what language to prepare their talks.
