Beginner Backpacking (Blue Ridge Reservoir to Kinder Crossing)

Overview: An off-trail hike following fishermen routes, game trails, and a perennial creek from the Blue Ridge Reservoir Spillway through East Clear Creek to the junction with Kinder Crossing Trail #19.

Mileage: 6.5 miles each way
Elevation: 6500ft.
AEG: 5 ft. (very flat)

We'll head up north Friday night after work, dispersive camp off FR751 before Rock Crossing Campground, and get an fresh start of it Saturday Morning.

Carpooling is recommended (but never required) as the parking at Rock Crossing and the Spillway can be at a premium and just to save on gas.
We-Ko-Pa is listed as the meetup site as it is the best option for those to carpool from the east side of the Valley. I live extreme North Phoenix and will be going through Camp Verde and can meet any one wanting to rideshare from there at the Happy Valley Park and Ride.
