AZT #27 to Blue Ridge Reservoir and back (Beginner Trip)

Overview: Following a section of the Arizona Trail from General Springs Cabin to the intersection with East Clear Creek/Blue Ridge Reservoir and back. We'll probably have more than enough time for a detour to the Battle of Big Dry Wash Monument or putter around Blue Ridge reservoir.

Mileage: 8.5 miles each way
Elevation: 7194ft.
AEG: 711 ft. (very flat)

You can head up north Friday night after work, dispersive camp off FR705 at historic General Springs Cabin( Just North of Rim Road FR300), or drive up Saturday Morning early. I'll be leaving from North Phoenix on Friday, probably earlier to beat the traffic.
