The 6 Summits of Scottsdale Challenge

The 10th edition of this informal challenge will take place on January 4, 2026. It’s not an organized or sanctioned event; participants are on their own for logistics and safety. Cost is free.

Suggested start time: 5:30 am.
End time: when you complete the six summits or the trails close whichever comes first.

1. Echo Canyon Trail 2.4 mile 1264 ft (Cholla trail if Echo is closed)
2. Sunrise Peak Trail 4.2 miles 1146 ft
3. Tom’s Thumb Trail 4.6 miles 1112 ft
4. East End Summit 0.6 miles 446 ft
5. Pinnacle Peak Park 1.5 miles 322 ft (turn around point is highest point on the trail)
6. Browns Mountain 3.1 miles 543 ft
