6 mile Loop Hike - Watershed/Seven Mile Gulch/Ranch Trails

Our Adventure will be a six mile loop that includes parts of the Watershed Trail (#299), Seven Mile Gulch Trail (#9854) and Ranch Trail (#62). About 4 miles of our hike will be on the "Prescott Circle Trail".
We will be hiking through a mixed forest including Pinyon Pine, Juniper, Ponderosa Pine and Gambel Oak. We will have panoramic views of the San Francisco Peaks, Granite Mountain, Thumb Butte, Spruce Mountain, Bill Williams Mountain and the Goldwater Lakes.
We will meet at the Watershed Trail head on Senator Highway just south of Goldwater Lake at 8am.
We plan to keep a moderate pace, with one or two snack/rest breaks.
I would not recommend this as beginner's hike but more of an intermediate hike due to the steep up hill for the first mile or so, suitable for fit hikers. We will start at an elevation of about 6200' have several ups and downs, highest elevation about 6600' before ending back at an elevation of about 6,200'.
Recommend 2 liters of water (or more), sun protection, snacks, personal first aid kit and sturdy hiking shoes - hiking poles will be helpful.
