Canyoneering: Hang-Em High Canyon

JOIN THE WAITLIST - The event will say its its full, but attendees will be added from the waitlist until the group limit of 6 is reached. This canyon is not beginner-friendly, so I’ll be screening participants to ensure they have the appropriate experience. If you are unsure, feel free to DM me. You must be a current AMC member to attend. Attendee list is at the sole discretion of the event organizer. It does not matter the order in which you sign up. You will be an active team member. This is not a guided tour. You will need to carry rope and gear, so bring an appropriate pack to accommodate this.

Hang-Em High is a nice canyon in Sedona with a fun approach and 6 mostly free hanging rappels. The rappel into the huge grotto is very scenic with a large overhang. It is suitable for those who are competent at free hang rappels, sit starts, self rescue, have basic technical rope skills, are fit and agile.

Personal Anchor
Autoblock
Pack large enough to carry rope inside

Waterproof wind shell
Self rescue gear
Approach shoes with good traction
Personal first aid kit (optional)

If you are a no show on any of my outings, you will not be permitted to attend any of my future events.
