Arizona Veterinary Sonographers

Are you a vet or tech in AZ who loves doing ultrasounds? Wish you had vet friends to compare your cases and experiences with? If so, this group is for you! This is a community where we get together and discuss interesting cases, get feedback from each other, discuss new research studies, and make plans for improving our skills. And, of course, have fun and network with local vetmed people with similar interests! Meetups will be in the Tempe/Chandler area to start.

I’m Sarah Nelson. I am a GP veterinarian in Tempe with 7 years of abdominal ultrasound experience with cats and dogs. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2016. My ultrasound training includes Universal Imaging (abdomen), Sonopath (abdomen), and WAVE (cardiac).

People who scan cats, dogs, and any other non-human creatures are very welcome to join!

This group will not offer ultrasound training, and is intended for veterinary sonographers who already perform ultrasounds regularly and are eager to keep improving!
