Alright, here we go…
This is our very first Booked & Unbothered gathering - equal parts book club, good food, and great conversation.
We’ll be keeping it small, relaxed and easy. No pressure, no overthinking, nothing awkward. Just show up, grab a seat, and bring your smiley face...and the book of course, unless that is you completely ran out of time and just don’t have a copy - you are always welcome.
Our first book will be The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Read all of it, some of it, or none of it. Our big night will be a huge success as long as you show up! Think of it…you will be part of the inaugural MeetUp of the Booked & Unbothered book club - now there’s something you can tell your grandkids!
I will bring a set of questions surrounding the book for discussion and hopefully they will lead someplace amazing.
Plan for a casual, comfortable evening at Passero’s 3 S. Evergreen, Arlington Heights IL 60005. (The Map below shows it on Campbell St - it is on the corner of Evergreen and Campbell) Please bring cash, as the establishment may not be keen on splitting checks.
