Heart to Heart: Parents Supporting LGBTQ Youth

Join us in a nurturing and safe space designed for parents and caregivers of LGBTQ+ children and youth. Our group aims to provide emotional support, share experiences, and foster understanding as we navigate the challenges and joys of parenting within the LGBTQ+ community. Parents and caregivers are welcome to come and openly discuss their feelings, concerns, and questions, while connecting with others who share similar experiences. Matt Goldstein, Counselor at OMNI and Janet McCarthy, President + Founder at Glens Friends will be hosting each group to offer education on LGBTQ+ issues, resources for advocacy, and discussions on how to best support our children in their journeys. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for our children, while building support for ourselves among parents who understand.
