Reign of Winter

After making it to the top of the Maiden, the party waits for a couple of days before the door into the statue appears, along with a tree that seems to be guarding it. While the party tries to negotiate with it, including figuring out solving a riddle will let them pass, the only thing that will sate the tree is a bloody sacrifice. Not willing to let that happen and not knowing the answer to the riddle, combat ensues. The party wins and heads into the Maiden. **please note the later than usual start time**
