Reign of Winter (PF 1E)

The party successfully fought off the frost giant and misogyny demons and decided to spend the night in the cave. Going to the open ledge with the showdrifts, they looked out and were able to determine they were in the outstretched hand of the mother statue. Heading back down the passageway they came from the party decides to go down the trapdoor in the passage. At the very bottom there was a grate with a dark crusty substance about 10' below. Rather than investigate, they go up a short flight of stone stairs to a door, where they are set upon by a couple of redcaps.
