While heading north to Artrosa, the party encountered a wizard who was being chased by a pack of winter wolves. After rescuing him, the wizard decided to tag along and help. After a couple more days, they reached the base of the mesa, staring up at the mile high statues carved into the forms of the maiden, the mother, and the crone. Remembering the rhyme given them by the raven oracles, the party head to the maiden statue to reach the top. After searching to see if there was another way and not finding one, the party begins to climb the statue. Halfway up, a couple of willow wisps try to lead the party in a different direction, but they continued to climb straight up. Angry, the willow wisps attack, but are beaten away by the party.
