Greetings! The next movie teed up for discussion is John Frankenheimer's 1973 version of The Iceman Cometh. The film features Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Fredrich March, and Jeff Bridges as key characters. The supporting cast is also first-rate.
Since its release, this version of Iceman has provoked some disagreement among O'Neill aficionados; the staging seems to be the main point of contention. Regardless, it is safe to say that this is a very lively and affecting film, on many levels.
