Philosophy meetup - Linguistic Relativity (Philosophy of "Arrival" Film)

How do languages shape how we think and perceive? Could some languages better suited for certain ends (e.g. science or poetry)? Has learning another language changed your worldview? What could be the "hard limits" or the forgotten/undiscovered possibilities of human language?

Please join us every other Saturday for a casual
philosophical discussion. Most weeks we will preselect a topic and add suggested readings, but some weeks will be open discussion. These meetings are lightly facilitated and open to anyone who likes to discuss life's fundamental questions.
