After the Armoury Bar closed, many of us were eager to keep our beloved weekly board game tradition alive. We aim to continue the spirit of our previous gatherings at the Armoury Bar, so every Wednesday at 6:00 PM we'll be hosting a meetup to bring everyone back to the table!
The new location for our meetups will be at Gloria's (Marie Heinekenplein 33 in Amsterdam). This vibrant tropical bar features cozy seating areas with several large tables for us to enjoy our games, plus a heated patio. They have a spacious kitchen with an extensive selection of food, cocktails, shots, and beer!
We'll have games from some of our members' personal collections at the event, and we encourage you to bring your own games as well. Currently, we're working on building an open games database to create an extensive and engaging game collection. Popular games among the meetup crowd include: Pandemic, 7 Wonders, Wingspan, Root, King of Tokyo, Istanbul, Monikers, Codenames, Secret Hitler, Feed the Kraken, Coup, Decrypto, Ticket to Ride, Agricola, Dune, Gaia Project.
