"Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose." - Viktor Frankl

The upcoming session of the Philosophy Club Arnhem will explore one of philosophy's most vulnerable questions: What is the purpose of (your) life?

It will be an open discussion around what gives us a feeling of purpose in life, and what our thoughts and experiences were around finding it. We will consider existentialism and the possibility that meaning may not be something we inherently have, but something we create.

This is the fourth and last session of our discussion group. As always - no background in philosophy is required. Bring only your curiosity, your questions, and a good appetite for lovely conversation. I'm looking forward to an intriguing evening.

Please sign up and add the event to your calendar - see you at Libertas!
