Easy Walk & Talk in Schorndorf (13.07.2024)

Hello everyone!

On Saturday, the 13rd of July 2024, we'll meet at 15:45 o'clock in front of the S-Bahn train station in Schorndorf (see photos in the event photoalbum). There we'll reciprocally introduce ourselves, then we'll walk together through the ancient streets of the town, enjoying what the traditional Schorndorfs Woche has to offer.

What about sharing a short quote, or a proverb, or a sort of slogan or life motto, or just a thought of yours, while introducing yourself? Please, when you get on your way to the event, bring one of your favorite quotes/proverbs/(whatever else) with you, written on a piece of paper, so you can share it with us and let us know you a little better thanks to it. The organizers will collect these papers and later will share them with the whole group.

The focus of the events, that are getting proposed here to the community, lies not only on sightseeing the area in and around Stuttgart, but even more on doing it together! So, be prepared to talk to other participants at the initial round of presentations and during the walk, learning something about them and letting them know something about you.

Please, note the following:

- these events are absolutely free and non-profit, aimed uniquely at promoting general well-being and socialization;

- although doing their best to offer a safe and enjoyable experience, the organizers assume no liability for any incident that may occur, and participants are the solely responsible for their safety and well-being;

- wear comfortable shoes and bring with you a small backpack with some water, snacks, sun cream, a cap and a small umbrella; most importantly, come with a positive mindset, open to explore alternative points of view;

- don't forget to join the group chat, either on Telegram (recommended for a better privacy! https://t.me/Stuttgart_together ) or on WhatsApp ( https://chat.whatsapp.com/GJ18X19AM697ADKwkK4bLl ) where we will usually share any eventual last minute information and geo-localization info for any eventual late-comers (please, be aware that we aren't going to wait longer than 10-15 minutes at the meeting point; moreover, have understanding that we aren't going to spend our time on digital chats once we start our walk & talk);

- events may be canceled at short notice due to inclement weather or other unexpected circumstances, so please check the group chat before getting on your way to the event;

- in the last hour before the beginning of the meetup it won't be possible to update any RSVP; if needed, you should write a short message in the group chat to let us know that you are coming or that you aren't;

- if you arrive at the meeting point, are on time and expect to be already walking on the planned path ten minutes later, then I have to disappoint you... it won't happen: every participant will be granted up to a minute to share their quote/proverb/life motto of the day;

- also don't expect that the event will be completed with punctuality by the ending time that you can read in the description: duration and ending time aren't meant as something binding, and it's up to you to decide when to leave.

A honest feedback to the organizers at the end of the event, in order to improve for future meetup proposals, will be very appreciated!
