Each session includes one short real-life story to spark conversation.
No lectures. No pressure.
Just real people sharing experiences and helping each other feel more at home in Sydney.

I came to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa from Germany, worked multiple jobs, and eventually became an Australian citizen.
I started Arrivals Sydney because I remember exactly how confusing those first months felt, and I wanted to create the kind of space I wish I had back then.

6:00 PM → Arrive, grab a drink, say hi
6:30 PM → Guest story
6:45 PM onwards → Open social time: ask questions, meet people, connect

Can I come alone?
Absolutely.
Many people come alone.
If you're feeling nervous, send me a message on Instagram before the event and I'll happily introduce you to a few people when you arrive.
Do I need to speak perfect English?
Not at all.
You don't need perfect English. We have people from all over the world and everyone starts somewhere.
Come as you are and we'll make it work.
But GTA VI is out...

Tough competition.
If you need a small break from gaming and want to meet some real people for a couple of hours, we'd love to have you.
Last time we were competing against a major event in Sydney and people still showed up.
What if it rains?
No worries.
Slip Inn has indoor and outdoor areas, and we'll meet indoors.
The event will go ahead rain or shine.
