👯‍♀️ Combo Tour: Medeiros & Almeida Museum & Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes

You’re warmly invited to our very first combo visit — a delightfully artsy Saturday that mixes history, witty and bold modern lines.

First stop: the Medeiros e Almeida Museum
Step into the world of a passionate collector who refused to be boxed in. Medeiros e Almeida’s treasures jump across time and place — from 3 BC to the 20th century, and from China to Portugal, France and England. Expect an eclectic parade of silverware, clocks and watches, porcelain, furniture, fans, paintings and glass. It’s like a time-traveling cabinet of curiosities with superb taste.

Next: Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes — Nadir Afonso: Territory of Absolute Freedom
Then we’ll head to the SNBA to explore the modern pulse of Nadir Afonso. This exhibition gathers 94 originals — paintings, drawings and studies — including seven sweeping canvases from the artist’s final years. A rare chance to dive into the bold geometry and visionary mind of one of Portugal’s 20th-century greats.
