Drawing Random Act of Kindness Cards & Picnic at Hyde Park
Details
A random act of kindness is a non-premeditated, inconsistent action designed to offer kindness towards the outside world.
What we'll do:
- 2:30pm: We'll meet at Hyde Park and do an introduction round
- After some chatting, we'll do some sketching warm-ups and draw on empty postcards
- Afterwards, we'll write a message for a stranger on them.
- 4:30pm: We'll give the cards to strangers (like this: dear stranger)
Please bring:
- Empty cards if you have any (I will provide empty postcards for everyone without cards)
- A pencil or the medium you prefer
- Feel free to bring stickers or tape, or anything you enjoy decorating the cards with
- Some food to share (finger food is the easiest to share ;) ) and something to drink
- A blanket or something else to sit on
Whether you are a beginner or an expert or have a completely different background-you are welcome to join us. Art is a great way to meet new people while learning and improving in a community. I'm looking forward to drawing and meeting you! :)
It will be another sunny Saturday, perfect for heading out, drawing and having a lovely picnic! :)
How to find us:
I will arrive about 15 minutes early to find a nice spot and will post the coordinates in the event's comments. I'll enter the park close to Knightsbridge (tube station). So the picnic spot will be in the south-east part of Hyde Park, around this location:

I'm looking forward to seeing and drawing with you! :)
