Albany Institute of History and Art Tour

Details
Join me on a walk through the Albany Instute of History and Art, a 233 year old institution in downtown Albany.
There's a lot to see, including some sculptures by Charles Calverley and Erastus Dow Palmer, two artists whose work we've seen in Albany Rural Cemetery.
The Institute owns 83 Hudson River School landscape paintings, many of which are on permanent display and one of the largest collections of American landscape paintings in the country. There are paintings by Thomas Cole, Frederic Church, Jasper Cropsey, Asher Durand, and Sarah Cole, to name a few.
There is a $10 or $12 admission fee (senior and regular) so don't bring a Meet Up donation for this event.
We will try to tag along for the free Docent Tour at 2 pm, if they have room,
