Boston Sketching and Coffee: Outdoor Architecture Studies 🏙️

Details

Bring your sketchbooks and favorite pens (or pencils) for a 2 hour group sketching session! We will be meeting in the North End for some building and city street studies.

All skill levels are welcome, as are writers, photographers, and other creatives.

Try to arrive on time (or a few minutes early) so that we can gather all attendees before moving through the neighborhood. We will be walking to and stopping at 3-5 different locations during the 2 hours so that we have a variety of landscapes and buildings to draw. So please be prepared for a small amount of walking (less than 2 miles total, and no more than 10 minutes at a time).

Also, keep in mind that we will be meeting outdoors. So please bring a hard surface to write on (clipboard, notebook, etc.), coffee, water, snacks, and anything else you need to survive outdoors. I will bring one or two blankets but please bring something to sit on if needed.

Our Goals:
We provide a community for creatives to beat Artist's Block consistently, so they can become their most creative selves. We also love supporting local businesses.

Location:
The North End
We will meet at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park by the trellis.

In case of rain, the event may be postponed, or an alternate indoor location will be provided in the event comments.

Parking/Transportation:
The closest T-stops are Haymarket (Green/Orange) and Aquarium (Blue).

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me or post in the chat!
